Hi All, I am descended from Deacon John Dunham, Jonathan, Jonathan, Jonathan, Samuel (1722-1792) ... Samuel married Waitstill Lord. My question concerns Waitstill Lord's parents. Her father is documented as Ephraim Lord. I have seen several family trees that claim Waitstill's mother was MARY DUNHAM (1696-1779) or (1702-1777). These various family trees trace Mary Dunham's ancestry back to Deacon John Dunham but through different sons of Deacon John. Does anyone know whether Mary Dunham Lord was actually the mother of Waitstill Lord and where I might find documentation so proving. And, if Mary Dunham was Waitstill's mother, from which line of Deacon John did she descend. Thanks for any help. -Jerry Terry |
