Item Four – Gratia Mahony research funding ($1800.00) Report

In 2010 the board of directors voted to assist in the cost of Dunham genealogy research and preparation of the quarterly DSFC newsletter by Gratia D. Mahony. This funding continued in 2011, 2012, & 2013. The $1800.00 helps cover the cost of membership in genealogical research websites and covers the cost of time and money spent to prepare and distribute the DSFC newsletter. Research websites include World Vital Records; Fold3; Ancestry.com; New England Historic and Genealogical Soc.; New York Genealogical and Biographical Soc.; Find My Past.uk. plus others used from time to time. I do not charge a fee for answering numerous queries that I receive. Preparation of the articles for the newsletter, and material for the web site does take considerable time and the remainder of the stipend of $1800.00 helps cover the cost of this time.
