 251. ISRAEL 4 DUNHAM (Eleazer 3 Joseph 2 John 1) born in Plymouth October 1689, [1] died 18 August 1726 “in 36th year”. [2] He is buried in Hillcrest Cemetery at Plympton Green opposite the church. Israel married 13 December 1713 JOANNA RICKARD, [3] daughter of Deacon John and Mary (--) Rickard. Joanna was born in Plymouth 22 September 1691. [4] Joanna’s father John Rickard was the son of Giles Rickard who married Hannah 2 Dunham (John 1 Dunham). Joanna (Rickard) (Dunham) married second in Plympton by Mr. Isaac Cushman10 October 1728 Elisha Whiton.[5] There are several deeds in which Elisha Whiton and Elisha Whiton Jr. are grantors to the sons of Israel 4 Dunham. [6] There is close association between the families of Rickard, Dunham, Tilson and Pratt.
