CHARLES-6 (MORGAN) DUNHAM b. abt. 1770, Hartford, Windsor Co., Vt.
The name Charles Morgan Dunham as given in the Brockville records may indicate that his mother’s surname was Morgan. Proof of this has not been found.
From 1800 Census of Plattsburgh, Clinton Co. NY p. 70;
Charles-6 Dunham family would be:
4 m. under 10
1 m. 26-45
1 f. under 10
1 f. 10-16
1 f. 26-45
In my research notes I say “I don’t find this Charles in the 1810 census in Plattsburg. Possibly he went north into Canada.” From the research in the Brockville records I believe that this Charles-6 did go north to Canada and he is the Charles Morgan Dunham who has a son named

William Morgan-7 Dunham as above. So, one of these male children under 10 in the 1800 census would be William Morgan-7 Dunham born 10 March 1797 in Plattsburg, Clinton Co., New York.
