183. DAVID-4 DUNHAM (Gershom-3, Jonathan-2, Deacon John-1) born ca 1698; [1] died in Edgartown, Dukes, MA, before 19 February 1746/7. [2] David was a farmer. He married first in Chilmark, 11 April 1723 SARAH CLIFFORD,[3] daughter of Jacob Clifford and Elizabeth Mayhew. Sarah Clifford was born in Hampton, Rockingham Co. NH, 4 March 1704/5; [4] died in 1737. David married second 30 October 1738 MARY (RIPLEY) MACKELROY, daughter of Joseph Ripley and Sarah Jenkins, and widow of William Mackelroy. [5]

Sarah Clifford was b. in Hampton, 4 Mar. 1705. She was daughter of Jacob Clifford who was b. in Hampton, 7 Apr. 1679 and who d. in Chilmark, Dukes Co. MA 9 May 1715. Jacob Clifford m. Elizabeth Mayhew, daughter of John Mayhew and Elizabeth Hilliard. Elizabeth Mayhew was b. 1677, and d. in Chilmark, 16 July 1729.
John Clifford (1646-1719) was son of John Clifford and Sarah _____. John Clifford (father of John b. 1646), was son of George Clifford. John Clifford (1646-1719) m. Sarah Godfrey, b. in Hampton, 15 May 1642; d. in Hampton, 25 July 1694; daughter of Deacon William Godfrey and Margaret _____.
