369. Silvanus-5 Dunham, b. in Plympton, Plymouth Co. MA, 26 May 1714; d. in Carver, Plymouth Co., MA 8 May 1796. He is buried in the Old Cemetery, Carver, MA, Find a Grave Memorial # 42270266. Silvanus-5 Dunham m. in Plympton, 22 February 1737/38 Rebecca Crocker. (Note: This family resided in that part of Plympton that became Carver in 1790.) She was buried in Lakenham Cemetery, Carver, Plymouth Co., MA, Find a Grave Memorial # 42270330.

Silvanus-5 Dunham served as a Private in Capt. Nathaniel Shaw’s Company, Col. James Warren’s Regt. which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775 to Marshfield, MA. (See article in DSFC Newsletter: Vol. 8, issue 4, October 2011 p.17-19 “The Almost Battle of Marshfield”.)

as of Middleboro, MA. Elijah 6 Dunham marched to Marshfield along with his father, and older brothers Israel 6, Simeon 6 and Silas 6.


Jacob 7 Dunham was the second son of Elijah and Eunice (Thomas) Dunham. He was born in Plym outh 11 September 1782; died in Middleboro 24 May 1860. He married on 29 November 1809 Susanna Thomas of Middleboro. Their first child was Jacob Bartlett 8 Dunham born in Plymouth, MA 21 Octo ber 1810. 7 GENERATION EIGHT
